What the game stores

Your cities and settings are saved locally on your device. On iPhone and iPad, saves can sync between your own devices through your personal iCloud account (iCloud key-value storage). This data goes directly between Apple's servers and your devices; we never see it.

What the game does not do

No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs that collect data. Boomtown plays fully offline and makes no network requests of its own.

This website

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA). When you visit, GitHub processes your IP address and request data to deliver the pages and keep the service secure; see GitHub's privacy statement. The site itself sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads no third-party fonts or scripts.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask us what data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. Since the game collects nothing, there is usually nothing to report, but write to us any time.

Children

Boomtown collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new date.
